Business Development Associate - FinTech

Location: Toronto (4 days a week in-office)

Salary: CA$60k basic, with OTE taking your package up to CA$70k in your first year

The Opportunity: We are building a new academy of Business Development Associates (BDAs), with our successful model that has been established in Toronto. This role offers a clear progression path to build your career in sales, providing excellent training and development, including four modules of specialized sales training. You'll gain fantastic development and exposure opportunities within a public company.

What You'll Do (Your Day-to-Day Role):

  • Conduct high-volume daily outreach via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to either qualify and book meetings with new leads, or disqualify them as needed.
  • Engage in conversations targeted towards business owners, C-suite executives, and finance leaders, where you'll articulate customised solutions for their currency risk management and global payment needs.
  • Collaborate with your account team to close opportunities.
  • You'll be measured on the number of booked 1st appointments and sufficient meetings.
