Hancock Seed Company now has an exciting opportunity for passionate and driven candidates to join their team as Customer Service and Sales Representatives.

This is a Monday - Friday opportunity, that will also require candidates to work on occasional Saturday mornings on a rotational basis.

The Role at a Glance:

As a Customer Service and Sales Representative you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, whilst also contributing fully to sales efforts for the business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and growing a comprehensive understanding of Hancock Seed, their products and usage recommendations to make valuable suggestions to customers and drive sales
  • Responding promptly to phone inquiries, providing accurate solutions and product information, as well as assisting with orders and issues
  • Greet walk-in customers, providing product recommendations and processing transactions
  • Monitor and manage email correspondence, responding timely to emails regarding inquiries and issues, whilst also generating new sales as the 'go-to' seed specialists
  • Managing leads and opportunities through the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and effective communication with potential customers
  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct product selection, pricing and shipping details
  • Handling requests for refunds, returns and claims, coordinating with relevant departments and shipping carriers to resolve issues promptly
  • Utlizing the CRM system to promptly respond to customer inquiries and generate quotes


  • A full 4-year Bachelor's degree is required
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
